We are presently looking for a Senior Information Architect.
Position Mandate
As Senior Information Architect, you will be responsible for identifying and documenting the functional aspects, behaviors and standards of client’s online experiences. The Senior Information Architect will collaborate on initiatives with various members of the User Experience Design team, project managers, account managers, developers and project stakeholders.
We’re looking for a Senior Information Architect with strong analytical skills who can translate business and user requirements into supportive experiences and effectively communicate solutions, both visually and verbally.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all IA activities (User Experience/Information Architecture) for assigned projects.
- Develop IA documents: flow diagrams, site maps, wireframes, use cases, visual walk throughs, and other supporting documentation to enhance the client’s websites appeal and functionality.
- Understand and capture all project requirements (including Statement of Work & Creative Brief).
- Collaborate in project definition activities with other project and business stakeholders.
- Produce highly accurate documentation and wireframe specifications required to implement design; ensure that produced pages match wireframe specifications.
- Be proactive in forwarding solutions to complex user experience problems and propose improvements to the existing process and product.
- Moderate and prepare documents for usability tests, including writing test plans, scenarios and questionnaires.
- Participate in formal and informal design critiques and give clear, constructive and effective feedback to peers.
- Able to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Determine how new product features and functionality elements will be integrated into the existing product interface structure seamlessly, consistently and with maximum user experience benefit.
- Providing quality assurance for all deliverables.
- Act as the user advocate through all stages of the process.
Competency Requirements
- 6+ years of experience demonstrating leading information architecture development for web-based projects, including websites, web applications and/or PC applications.
- Strong design portfolio including examples of interaction flows, sketches, sitemaps, wireframes and use scenarios.
- Strong skills in creating highly intuitive interfaces.
- Excellent analytical ability.
- Ability to model interaction flow, navigation structure, and other structural components of system.
- Understand the strengths and limitations of current web technologies (HTML, CSS, etc).
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail is a must .
- Passion for experience design and an eagerness to collaborate with other creative people.
- Self motivated, organized and accountable.
- Proven experience in leading the interactive experience of intermediate websites is a must.
- Strong understanding of user research, usability, and web standards.
- Experience in Visio, MS Office Suite, HTML editors, other prototyping and design tools.
