We are presently looking for a Project Manager to join our team.
Position Mandate
Project Management's mission is to drive critical decisions necessary to deliver the right solution at the right time. Project
management also creates the requirements specification which is used as a tool for making decisions about how the
solution or service will be implemented. Finally, Project Manager must facilitate the day-to-day coordination required to
ensure quality of deliverables, client satisfaction and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering a quality solution, product or service on time.
- Maintaining internal and external coordination and communication.
- Exercising change control over the functional specification.
- Collating the project schedule from each team role, and managing the master schedule.
- Monitoring progress, maintaining project reporting, time tracking, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Score Cards,
Status.
- Managing projects budgets and resource requirements
Essential Functions
- Preparing the business case.
- Preparing initial estimates and schedules for proposals.
- Preparing Statement Of Work together with Account Managers.
- Leading the requirements discovery/investigation process:
- Business process, functional requirements and use cases
- Creative
- Interactive and user interface
- Usability and accessibility
- Technical
- Data and reporting
- Production: operational and support
- Security, compliance and risk
- Defining project success factors.
- Coordinate external and internal meetings with clients, vendors, and various internal groups.
- Maintaining project documentation and delivering all project communications.
- Drafting and maintaining risk plan.
- Directing people (assigning tasks, tracking progress, etc.), managing external contractors and vendors.
- Managing project reporting, time tracking, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) , Score Cards, Status, Budgets.
- Coordinating team reviews after each project milestone; adjust schedule and features, if necessary.
- Track project progress and manage schedule.
Required Skills
- 2-5 years experience in web applications software project management including:
- Experience managing Interactive, CRM, or Business Intelligence projects.
- Experience developing detailed project plans.
- Experience in scope management and budget management.
- Experience in client management (responsibilities and expectations.)
- Strong communication and presentation skills in order to be effective facilitators and negotiator.
- Experience of managing and coordinating internal and external creative, technical and marketing resources.
- Experience in software web application development lifecycle.
- Understanding of the online marketing technologies: web, e-mail, rich media, online collaboration, web
analytics and eager to learn about new developments in the industry.
- Ability to analyze numerical marketing and financial data, experience with reporting and analytical tools.
- Experience with project management (MS Project or equivalent ) and professional service automation tools.
- Experience with customer data driven projects: business intelligence (BI), data warehouse, CRM.
- Leadership skills (motivating team members; providing constructive feedback.)
- Understanding of SAAS/ASP models and managed services.
Performance Skills
- Ability to take ownership of assigned projects and bring them to completion with minimal oversight.
- Must be able to prioritize projects and problems according to established guidelines.
- Efficient time management skills.
- Quick learner, enthusiastic, detail-oriented.
Communication Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Effectively communicate with account team members and customers to define/clarify business requirements.
- Communicate project status changes to account managers and customers on a timely basis.
- Work and communicate in a professional team environment with other staff members.
