We are presently looking for a Business Requirements Analyst to join our team.

Position Mandate

The Requirements Analyst mission is to ensure the Client's requirements are precisely captured and modeled to ensure the Project Objectives are attained. The Requirements Analyst also creates the requirements specification and use cases which are used for the technical design and test cases necessary to ensure the solution or service will be implemented as per the Client's request. Finally, the Requirement Analyst ensures the quality of deliverables and client satisfaction.

  • Delivering quality business specifications on time.
  • Supporting technical design and elaboration.
  • Maintaining change control over the functional specification.
  • Implementation planning.
  • Quality Assurance.

Competency Requirements

  • Leading the requirements discovery/inception process.
  • Business process, functional requirements, process flow, uml, use cases, use case diagrams.
  • Gather requirements for Data flow and integration.
  • Interactive and User Interface.
  • Usability and Accessibility.
  • Champion the Project Elaboration and Technical Design.
  • Report Layouts, KPI Metrics, Analytical Cubes and Dimensions.
  • Test Cases and Functional Testing.
  • Implementation.
  • Coordinate external and internal meetings and JAD sessions with clients, vendors, and various internal groups.
  • Maintaining project requirements documentation.

Performance Skills

  • Ability to take ownership of assigned projects and bring them to completion with minimal oversight.
  • Must be able to prioritize projects and problems according to established guidelines.
  • Efficient time management skills.
  • Quick learner, enthusiastic, detail-oriented.

Required Skills and Traits

    5+ years experience in web applications software business analysis including:
  • Experience managing requirements for large complex Interactive, CRM, or Business Intelligence projects.
  • Experience in client management (expectations).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in order to be effective facilitators and negotiator.
  • Experience in software web application development lifecycle.
  • Understanding of the online marketing technologies: web, e-mail, rich media, online collaboration, web analytics and eager to learn about new developments in the industry.
  • Ability to analyze numerical marketing and financial data, experience with reporting and analytical tools.
  • Experience with project management (MS Project or equivalent ) and professional service automation tools.
  • Experience with customer data driven projects: business intelligence (BI), data warehouse, CRM.
  • Proven leadership skills (motivating team members; providing constructive feedback.)
  • Understanding of SAAS/ASP/SOA models.

Communication Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effectively communicate with account team members and customers to define/clarify business requirements.
  • Communicate project status changes to account managers and customers on a timely basis.
  • Work and communicate in a professional team environment with other staff members.
